I became a wedding photographer because honestly, what's better than this? Beautiful people, meaningful moments, real emotions, and the honour of being the person who gets to capture all of it. I never take that lightly.
I'm Dutch, I talk a lot, and I genuinely love people. Somehow couples still tell me they forgot I was there. I'm choosing to take that as a compliment. I think that's because when you're genuinely enjoying the day alongside them, the camera just becomes part of the background. I care about your wedding not just as a job, but because beautiful, love-filled days genuinely make me happy.
I also keep things calm and organised behind the scenes, so even when timelines shift or the light does something unexpected, you won't notice any stress from my side. You'll just get the photos.
— MyrtheWhen I'm not behind a camera, you'll usually find me somewhere between a strong coffee and a spontaneous plan to go somewhere I've never been. I'm drawn to places with texture: rugged coastlines, ancient cities, wide open landscapes that make you feel wonderfully small.
At home I share my space with Floki, my cat, Alejandro, my bunny, and my boyfriend Karl. We spend a lot of time dreaming about future trips, cooking together at home, and staying active through sports.
Sport keeps me sane, cooking keeps me happy, and travel keeps me inspired. A full life outside of work makes me a better photographer inside it.

Before your wedding day we'll have a videocall to get to know each other a little, talk through your day and make sure everything feels good. If you want to take it a step further, a love shoot is a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera together, and for us to actually spend some time together before the big day. Then closer to the wedding we'll jump on another call to go through the final details. And if you happen to be based around Utrecht, I'm always up for a coffee instead.
Your love story is genuinely beautiful — it doesn't need staging. My job is to be in the right place at the right time, with the right light, and to be invisible enough that you forget someone is watching.
I take a limited number of weddings each year — by choice. Because I want to actually know you, show up for you fully, and give your day the creative attention it deserves. You're not a date in my calendar. You're a story I'm proud to tell.
