Hi, I’m Myrthe, the photographer behind Wild Heart Tales. I’m all about creating meaningful, beautiful images that reflect the true emotions and essence of your day.

As a lover of travel, coffee, and sunsets, I draw inspiration from the world around me – whether it’s a quiet moment or a burst of energy in a celebration. I’m the introverted chatterbox who thrives on capturing the real, unscripted moments that tell your story.

Dutch by birth, my heart feels at home in many places, from the warmth of southern vibes to the serene beauty of Iceland’s landscapes.

We’ll schedule a meeting (in person or online) to get to know each other, chat about your wedding plans, and make sure we’re the perfect match.

Once you’re ready, I’ll guide you through the paperwork, including filling out the booking form and making the prepayment to secure your date.

With everything confirmed, we’re officially set to capture your love story. Time to start counting down to your big day!

How many photos will we receive?

The number of photos varies depending on the length of coverage, but for a full-day wedding, you can expect to receive 500–800 carefully edited images.

Is travel included in your package prices?

Yes, travel costs within the Netherlands and Europe are included in all packages. For destination weddings outside Europe, additional travel and accommodation costs may apply, which we can discuss in detail.

How far in advance should we book?

I recommend booking as soon as you have your wedding date finalized to ensure availability, especially during the busy wedding season (April to October).

Do you require a deposit to secure our date?

Yes, a prepayment of €500 or €1000 is required to secure your wedding date. The remaining balance will be due closer to your wedding day.

What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know as soon as possible. The prepayment is non-refundable, but I’ll do my best to work with you on finding a new date if rescheduling is needed.

Will you be the one photographing our wedding?

Yes, I will personally be your photographer. For larger weddings or if requested, I can also arrange for a second photographer to join.

Can we provide you with a shot list?

Of course! While I focus on capturing candid and natural moments, I’m happy to include specific shots that are important to you, like family portraits or unique details.

When will we receive our photos?

Your complete gallery will be delivered within 6–8 weeks after the wedding, but you’ll receive a sneak peek of a few photos within one week.

What equipment do you use?

I shoot with Sony and have three camera bodies. I also work with various lenses and lighting equipment, always ensuring I have plenty of memory cards and extra charged batteries to be fully prepared for every moment.

What happens if it rains or there’s bad weather?

No worries! I’ll come prepared with backup plans and creative ideas to ensure your photos turn out beautifully, rain or shine. I’m all in for a rainy session – think romantic shots with umbrellas and moody skies!

We’ll discuss backup plans together to make sure every moment is captured perfectly, whatever the weather.

How do travel arrangements work for destination weddings?

How do travel arrangements work for destination weddings?
Travel arrangements for destination weddings within Europe are included in the package, and I’ll take care of booking my own flights and accommodations. For accommodations, I’m happy to stay at a hotel arranged by your wedding planner if that’s preferred. This way, everything stays simple and stress-free for you!

What happens if you cannot attend our wedding due to unforeseen circumstances?

In the rare event I cannot attend, I will arrange for a trusted professional photographer with a similar style to step in. Your wedding is a priority, and I’ll ensure everything is captured beautifully and seamlessly.
